John is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Statutory Auditor. He trained in the accountancy profession before joining Mercedes Benz (UK) Limited as a management accountant. Prior to Martin Nye, John was a university lecturer teaching on professional and academic accountancy courses.
John spends a large proportion of his time dealing with technical taxation matters including Inheritance Tax and Estate Planning.
Stephen is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Statutory Auditor. He trained in the profession and after qualifying moved into industry as a management accountant. Stephen was involved in numerous company acquisition situations and experienced management accounting in all of its guises.
Stephen has extremely strong accounting systems skills and manages a portfolio of business and personal clients.
Stephen is the Honorary Treasurer of the UK Counties Athletic Union and the Buckinghamshire Athletic Association.
Vicki joined Martin Nye straight from university and qualified with us as a Chartered Certified Accountant. She has a wide range of professional experience including all aspects of accounting and taxation. Vicki is responsible for technical accounting issues and financial reporting matters.
Vicki has detailed experience of the accounting and taxation issues arising on the sale and acquisition of a business. She has conducted due diligence exercises on behalf of acquisitive clients and has also managed the process when client businesses have been sold. This has involved dealing with due diligence teams from the ‘big four’ accountancy practices and major firms of commercial lawyers.
Matthew trained and qualified with Martin Nye as a Chartered Certified Accountant after completing his accountancy degree. Matthew previously worked in the finance industry and this has proved to be very useful experience in terms of helping to arrange finance for clients.
Matthew specialises in the property and construction industry and is able to provide a full range of accounting and taxation services to clients in this industry.
John is a Chartered Accountant and founded the firm with Peter Martin. John now acts as a consultant to Martin Nye specialising in Inheritance Tax and Trust and Estate Planning.
John has a wide range of experience in both the profession and industry, including roles with Price Waterhouse and a number of prestigious corporations.
Lesley is a Chartered Certified Accountant. She has a wide range of professional experience particularly in respect of the medical and dental professions. Lesley has developed a strong interest in taxation in recent years and has completed the examinations of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.
Lesley was previously an audit manager with Touche Ross specialising in the health industry.
Philip is a Chartered Certified Accountant, who trained and qualified with Martin Nye. Philip has a wide range of experience in all aspects of professional practice. Philip plays a crucial role in tax compliance work and has undertaken a number of specific taxation projects for Martin Nye.
Benjamin joined us straight from school and is training to be an accountant through on the job training and attendance at college, he works out of our Derbyshire office.
Benjamin, together with undertaking administrative tasks in our Derbyshire office, is developing a wide range of accounting and taxation skills.
Hannah is responsible for the maintenance and smooth operation of the main office in Buckinghamshire she also undertakes a number of administrative duties and ad hoc projects.
